A Successful Day Begins The Night Before
A Successful Day Begins The Night Before
If you find yourself having rough days at home and in business you should probably plan a bedtime routine. As we prepare for the 5:30 a.m. Prayer Challenge there is no way that you can expect to succeed each day without properly planning ahead. In my own personal life, I have found that planning my day (the day before) has decreased stress and helps me and my children to become more disciplined. Here are few tips to planning your day.
1. Find a quiet place - Elect a time each evening when are committed to having the kitchen cleaned, kids in bed and you can unwind. This is the perfect time to reflect (on the previous day) and project (forecast your tomorrow).
2. Have some tea - One way to reward yourself for being a supermom and business woman of excellence is to reward yourself with chamomille tea (or any flavor you prefer). This helps to calm your nerves and prepare your mind for next day planning.
3. Get your planner out - If you have a planner of some sort, list your top 3 priorities for the next day. These are things that have deadlines attached to them and must be done. List your additional tasks in order of priority.
4. Review your list - Be sure to determine what time you need to start your day in order to accomplish your tasks. This will help you to intentionally seize the day.
Happy Planning.
